The United States National Team made history on Wednesday by defeating World #1 Spain 2-0 in South Africa to reach the first final in a FIFA event in the nations history. Martin Rogers of Yahoo!   1. I have to say, as a Galaxy fan, I dread the day Donovan no longer suits up for LA. That said, if his performance in this game, and the Cup as a whole doesn’t attract substantial attention from Europe, I don’t know what’s going on.

    I’ve got a EPL team I support, but my loyalty could well be swayed by Donovan signing in La Liga.

  2. You guys repeated that we got beat up pretty bad by Italy and Brazil. Even though we lost both matches, I think we very well could of have beaten Italy if Clark did not get send off. Before we lost Clark to that red-card, we were creating chances to score goals. Its kind of hard to play with a man down for almost 50+ minutes.
