More images of Everton’s new home shirt for the 2009-10 season have been revealed. Designed and manufactured by Le Coq Sportif, the new home shirt is a tribute to the famous Le Coq Sportif shirt worn by Everton between 1983-85 when Everton won the FA Cup, First Division title and European Cup Winners Cup trophy.

The shirt features a unique round collar, and three lines at the bottom of the short-sleeve shirt version.

The Le Coq Sportif shirt also features another unique aspect (pictured below):

The inside collar commemorates the 25th anniversary of Everton’s 1984-85 European Cup Winners Cup victory when they beat Rapid Vienna 3-1 in the final. A nice touch by Le Coq Sportif is the naming of the starting eleven which won that match: Neville Southall, Gary Stevens, Pat Van Den Hauwe, Kevin Ratcliffe, Derek Mountfield, Peter Reid, Trevor Steven, Graeme Sharp, Andy Gray, Paul Bracewell and Kevin Sheedy.
