England

§  Clint Dempsey entered the game in the 60th minute in Fulham’s draw vs. Swansea City.

§  Tim Howard played 90 minutes in Everton’s 3-1 win against Aston Villa.

§  Brad Friedel played 90 minutes in Aston Villa’s loss to Everton.

§  Brad Guzan did not play in Aston Villa’s loss to Everton.

§  Jonathan Spector did not play in West Ham’s 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough.

§  Jay DeMerit played 90 minutes in Watford’s 3-1 Loss to Chelsea F.C.

§  Eddie Johnson plays Arsenal on Monday.

§  Frank Simek did not play in Sheffield Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat against Doncaster Rovers.

§  Jemal Johnson played 90 minutes in Milton Keynes Don’s 3-1 win over Hartlepool United.

    Thanks for posting the run down here. It safes time posting it on what in my opinion is fast becoming the central hub for serious talk on the American soccer scene. What the report indicates is that too many quality US players are being left to rot on European benches. Simply in many cases the stale European coaches can not appreciate the talent of the American players for what it is but must have them fit into a old world format. The O’Neils and Moyes are rare exceptions who accept the talented American’s for what they are and btw WIN with them! Howard and Bradley get results for their teams, but how can anyone explain why a World Cup veteran like Beasley is sitting on a bench and he is not the only one.
