The US can clinch passage to the next stage of CONCACAF qualifying, the Hexagonal with a victory tonight versus Cuba. Cuba is the weakest team the US will fact in World Cup qualifying: in fact Cuba is probably weaker than Barbados who the US crushed 8-0 at the Home Depot Center in June, before struggling to beat in Bridgetown a week later. Both Trinidad and Tobago as well as Guatemala have had their way with the Cubans in previous qualifiers yet the US struggled down in Havana. What lineup will Bob Bradley field today? Will we see Jozy Altidore, Jose Francisco Torres or Freddy Adu? Will we continue to see the bucket formation?

Also tonight Mexico faces a very tough test in Kingston against Jamaica. Jamaica must win all three remaining games to have a chance of advancing. Honduras hosts Canada in a game that could go a long way to ensuring Honduras returns to the Hexagonal after being eliminated at this stage in 2006 qualifying. Trinidad’s trip to Guatemala is massive with the victor of that match holding the inside track on qualification to the Hexagonal. Both sides are currently on 4 points.
