La Furia remain atop the FIFA/Coca Cola Rankings for a fourth consecutive month.   They were able to distance themselves from Italy and Germany in the rankings as they earned 52 more points  than the reigning world champs and 71 more than Die Mannschaft after more than convincing wins against Bosnia Herzegovina and Armenia.   The Spanish side will most likely make end 2008 as the top team as they will face Estonia and Belgium on the road.   Although several players come nicked up, wins in Tallinn and Brussels will most likely have them with one foot in South Africa.   In addition to the World Cup qualifiers, Spain will play Chile in a friendly match on November 19th in a site still to be determined.

Brazil, despite a negative result at home against Bolivia, they were able to take advantage of their 3-0 win in Santiago against Chile to jump into fourth place.   Brazil leapfrogged over Netherlands and Croatia who did not have the most successful debuts.  Netherlands won their first two matches under lots of pressure, while Croatian were destroyed by England in Zagreb.
