Roma need to step it up and continue to set a fire underneath themselves, as this season’s Champions League Final will be held at the Stadio Olimpico.

 In knowing the final will be played on their home pitch in front of their fans, the boys in red should gain inspiration and desire from that reality and vault themselves ahead of opposition. Win the crowd by making your place secure you Roman Gladiators.

History

It will be the fourth time the final has been staged at the Stadio Olimpico and the eighth European Cup final to be held in Italy.
Liverpool FC, won the 1977 final there against VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach repeating that trick in 1984 against Roma. Juventus would steal a page from Liverpool and defeat AFC Ajax during the last final staged on the Olimpico pitch in the 1996 final.

    Not sure about Roma. It would be wonderful to play at home in the final, but I really don't think that they bought enuff reenforcements to make it in the CL.

    Not a chance and I'm a Romanista through and through. Hindsight's 20/20 but I think the influx of foreign cash should have been opened earlier this year when there was interest. It'll be a long-time before the markets stabilize and I'm afraid if the Sensi's go under the club might be dragged along with them.
