World Cup Qualifying begins in earnest this week in the CONCACAF region and come September UEFA, AFC and COMNEBOL rejoin the fun. Beginning Thursday we’ll have an extensive wrap up on all Premiership footballers involved in CONCACAF qualifying. The big matchup this Wednesday is between CONCACAF’s two most talented sides: Mexico and Honduras at the venerable and incomparable Estadio Azteca in Ciudad de Mexico. In other action involving Premier League stars, Canada will face Jamaica who have elected not to call in Marlon King, the United States without Freddy Adu and Jozy Altidore will face Guatemala while Trinidad and Tobago will face Cuba.
