Several months ago, EPL Talk published an article featuring the MySpace pages for celebrity footballers and commentators
. While MySpace’s popularity is starting to fade and more people are embracing Facebook, we thought it’d be good timing to point out which famous footballers are on the cutting edge of social networking and who have their own Facebook pages.
  1. Peter Crouch, Liverpool and England
  2. Aaron Lennon, Tottenham and England
  3. Wes Brown, Manchester United and England
  4. Gareth Bale, Tottenham and Wales
  5. Jay DeMerit, Watford and United States
  6. Charlie Sheringham, Crystal Palace
  7. Lewwis Spence, Crystal Palace
  8. Sam Ricketts, Hull City and Wales
  9. Lewin Nyatanga, Barnsley and Wales

Some of you reading this post may be second guessing whether these are in actual fact the real Facebook pages for the footballers. But based on our research and reviewing the profiles, we believe all of them are the real players.

If you know of any famous footballers that aren’t on the list, add them to the comments with a link to their page or email me at thegaffer[at]epltalk[dot]com
