Moreno Ties All Time MLS Scoring Mark
DC United stalwart Jaime Moreno who has spent all but one season with the club since its inception tied the all-time MLS scoring record with a penalty kick goal in today’s 2-1 DC victory over Toronto FC. The win was critical for DC as they climbed out of the Eastern Conference basement. Following a strong run in the CONCACAF Champions Cup and last year’s Supporters Shield Trophy DC United was expected to dominate the East this season, but instead has been struggling.
