New Liverpool 07/08 Home & Away Shirts

New Liverpool 07/08 Home & Away Shirts

We have no way of knowing whether this is valid or fake, but one of the EPL Talk readers has sent us the following image of the supposed Liverpool shirts for next season (pictured right).

The picture features an away jersey for Liverpool’s 07/08 season and an international home shirt to be played on nights when Champions League matches would be played. To me, the Champions League reminds me more of Spain than Liverpool with the yellow trim. Or perhaps it’s supposed to be gold but the color doesn’t translate well on the computer screen?

The Champions League shirts would feature an ’08 sponsorship to promote across Europe the fact that Liverpool has been selected as the European Capital of Culture for 2008. During ’08, hundreds of cultural events will be taking place around Liverpool to celebrate the honor.

Fake or not? You decide.

In the meantime, if you’re a Liverpool fan, be sure to listen to the EPL Talk interview with Liverpool legend Ronnie Whelan, or view my photo collection of my recent trip to Anfield.

They are awful. And as fake as a tranny’s bits.

Especially that bit where they’ve got a detachable bib floating over the top of them. As in a baby’s bib.

Those are horrible. With the “bib” and the shading, they seem designed to make the players look fat.

    Please be fake.

This must be a joke or something. It looks like a bad version of spain.Adidas is a shite kit supplier anyway,Reebok was far better. The Champions League home shirts in 2005/06 were absolutely genious, but these are really crap.

the away one isnt to bad but the other 3 are shockers. the international one is crap. the goalie ones are shite. these are shocking designs that the world should not have to see.

    Hi there,

Liverpool’s kit hasn’t been released and it looks like a photoshop kit.

    dreadful. fake fake fake

Fake – away kit will still be yellow and there are no plans for an ‘international’ kit. This would depend on the result of the final in Athens as in 2005/06 when LFC had a red and gold kit to comemorate their win. As for the Liverpool 08 sponsor – no chance as Carlsberg are still the exclusive LFC shirt sponsor. Why do people waste their time posting fake pictures like these?

are u mad adidas are the best kit suppliers in the world, its the most popular in the world, and they sponsered us when we wuz unbeatable, and our away kit is white next year not yellow

i was at anfield a few weeks back and i was told about the kit situation

and to the best of what i can remember this is what he told me:

“Liverpool have a deal with Adidas that means every two years the home kit is changed, and every year both away and champions league away kits are changed, i think the colour of one of the new shirts is black and red this may be the champions league kit, i’m unsure about the away kit though.”
