Mooch Myernick Passes Away

US Soccer lost one of its leading lights today as Glenn “Mooch” Myernick passed away after a heart attack he suffered last week after jogging. Myernick, the former Colorado Rapids coach and Bruce Arena’s chief assistant for the 2002 and 2006 World Cups was 51.

  1. A big loss for soccer in the USA. He was a real pioneer who contributed to the growth of soccer in this country on many levels (including the highest - in the World Cup).

My prayers go out to him and his family.

    Rest in peace, Mooch.
