Manchester United-supr lucky-a very easy group.
    Arsenal should also go through.
Chelsea, Barca, Werder, Levski-by far the most difficult group, with Werder being probably the best German team right now, and the Bulgarians-always a tricky team to play away.

  2. dave r says:

Of course Chelsea are going to have the trickiest looking group – they weren’t seeded!!

  3. Sir Max says:

    GLory Glory

United lucked out, but then again so did the scousers and Arsenal.

  4. The WENIS Blog says:

United and Chelski with revenge chances, right?

  5. Yannick says:

As much as I would like to think United have an easy group, we have to keep in mind that Benfica knocked us out last year(I think) and also FC Copenhagen did surprise Ajax recently. Celtic of course you can never rule them out of providing a challenge.

I am still pondering how it is that Chelsea and Barcelona always end up facing each other. How can chelsea not be seeded?

How much did Milan pay? I mean, seriously!

Does anybody know if FSC (or anybody else) will be broadcasting these games in the states?

  8. Anonymous says:

Champions League is on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and Setanta: they will split the games this season.

  9. fsquid says:

Chelsea is not seeded because the seeds are based on the last 5 seasons of CL play.

I think Liverpool will have the toughest time. PSV is no pushover and Galatasaray is a tad too good to be a 4th seed. I have no clue on Bordeaux. If Liverpool drops points at home, they might be up against it.

  10. Carlito says:

You have to questions that last 5 years seeding system, I personally don’t like the possibility of a big name club like Barca or Chelsea getting outed in the group stage. At least it will make for an exciting group, I don’t think there will be any big surprises in the other groups.

  11. fang says:

I think all premier team got the good draw. Only for chelsea a bit tough facing their rival barca .

  12. gooooner says:

arsenal will win fa cup & champoins league

    3-1 & 4-1 double for £50 wins you £1000

All supporters should bet, when u get beat by the gooners.. u will have a grand to soften the blow and go buy ur selfs a new shell suit each and stil have change for ur unhappy lives supporting shite!!!!!
