Premiership Countdown: 25 Days to Go

Late breaking news: ESPN2 will be televising the Columbus Crew against Everton friendly on Wednesday, July 26 at 7pm ET.

The Crew, who hosted Fulham last year in a similar friendly, will play against David Moyes’s side who just lost 1-0 to Celtic. New signing Andy Johnson, although impressive, has yet to find the back of the net. Everton’s Andy Van der Meyde, meanwhile, is still injured and hasn’t flown with the team to the US.

This should be an excellent opportunity to see what Everton has in store and how a Major League Soccer team such as Columbus does against the Toffees.
