Conor Casey will have knee surgery
American International attacker Conor Casey is injured again and will have arthroscopic knee surgery remove scar tissue from his knee. Casey was being touted as a potential starter for Mainz 05 but now will miss the start of the Bundesliga campaign.

This guy like O’Brien and Reyna is ALWAYS hurt. Who cares anymore. I’ve given up on him.
Arena made a mistake by not taking Casey I thought, but perhaps he was unfit.
