5 Responses to LA Galaxy Fire Former U.S. National Team Coach

  1. Kartik says:

Lalas has already proven to be an inept general manager with the New York franchise. LA did the double last season with Sampson winning the US Open Cup and the MLS Cup both.

  2. Colin says:

Is this a world cup site or an american second division site?

  3. Kartik says:

The Galaxy also fired Zigi Schmidt and Octavio Zamabarano at a strange time IRC. I think Zamabarano was fired the day after Luis Hernandez was signed. Juergen Klinsmann rumours wereabound but it was not be. Zambarano took over the Metrostars took Clint Mathis with him and had the teams only decent year in 2000, while the Galaxy struggled.

Sampson will resurface probably with another national team in Central America or the islands.

  4. Kartik says:

I should also point out the Galaxy’s two biggest offensive threats, Landon Donovan of the USA team and Cornell Glenn of the T&T team are at the World Cup and have been gone from the squad for three weeks. That helps to explain all the losses.

  5. Charity Shield says:

MLS is a total fraud. Why real Football fans would even pay attention is a serious question.
